Are
With over 100 students, the University of Alberta Mining Engineering Student Society is a place for mining students to connect, get involved, and feel part of the mining community. We bring students together through events, industry opportunities, mentorship, and shared experiences that help us grow both inside and outside the lecture halls.
What
We
Do
The mining industry is special for being a small world. We foster a tight-knit community starting at the U of A. We organize events such as semesterly BBQs, intramural sports teams, foosball tournaments, and many more! These events allow students to forge bonds outside of the classroom and stay connected with industry driven peers.
